Christine Circello
Master of Social Work
Christine graduated from Rutgers University with her master's in social work. She provides an empathic approach to support individuals that are navigating through the obstacles in life, and offers a safe space for clients to genuinely express their feelings and needs as she gently guides clients towards growth and progress towards their therapeutic goals.
Christine utilizes an eclectic approach including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, humanistic, and acceptance and commitment therapy. She has experience with working in partial and IOP settings, outpatient settings, and working in the community.
Working in a community setting has offered her experience with diverse groups of individuals of various races, gender identities, cultural backgrounds, medical issues, and mental health situations. Christine's approach consists of being open to learning from others in order to broaden the opportunity to become more culturally oriented.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and is certified in DBT therapy and Trauma Certification. Currently, she is in the process of obtaining her LCSW.
Christine's passion lies in helping her clients uncover and attempt to work through traumatic experiences. She works sincerely to validate her clients’ deepest needs and desires, understanding their thoughts and feelings, and providing guidance on how to best meet their goals through self-exploration, communication, and appropriate action.
